Things you should know!

What facilities are available?Toilet facilities are available possibly a compost toilet or flushing to a septic tank, however, please consider arriving already wearing your swimsuits as the time of year and limited changing area. We advise to bring minimal personal belongings with you. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee the security of any valuables left for safekeeping. Please come having already showered as we do not yet have showers available, only the classic bucket rinse or cold water barrel.

What are you opening times?Thursday 8am - 8pm Friday 8am - 8pm Saturday 8am - 8pm Sunday 8am - 8pm These opening times are subject to change. We may open additional hours/days upon request for special events, for bank holidays, or for other holidays throughout the year. Please check our Instagram and Facebook to keep up to date with any events we may be holding.

What should I bring with me?You will need swimwear, plenty of drinking water, 2 towels (one to sit on in the sauna and one for drying off) We advise to bring warm clothing to change into after sauna for the colder months and appropriate easy to remove footwear. Please remove any metal jewellery and ensure that your swimwear has no metal fasteners as these will get very hot and can burn.

Safety Guidelines1. Consult a doctor before using our facility if you are pregnant, diabetic, have health concerns, or are under medical care, including a history of dizziness or fainting, and any metal pins, rods, artificial joints, or surgical implants. 2. If feeling unwell, having low blood pressure, taking prescription medications, or dealing with conditions that may affect your ability to sweat, consult your doctor before sauna use. 3. Limit sauna sessions to 5-10 minutes for first-timers, and 15-20 minutes for experienced users. Pay attention to your body's response to temperature. Exit immediately if feeling nauseous, uncomfortable, dizzy, or sleepy. Stay hydrated by drinking water before, during, and after. 4. Alcohol, drugs, and smoking are prohibited in the sauna. Entry may be refused to intoxicated individuals or those posing a health and safety risk. 5. Avoid direct contact with hot sauna rocks and heaters to prevent burns and injuries. Remove metal items, such as jewelry and watches, before entering. 6. No glass is allowed in the sauna. 7. Use of phones or electronics in the sauna is at your own risk. Duddlestone Farm and its staff are not liable for any damage. 8. Duddlestone Farm and its staff are not responsible for the loss or damage of belongings in the sauna or changing areas although a private changing area is provided for sauna users it’s not guarded. 9. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the sauna. Children under 12 are not permitted. 10. Use the cold plunge at your own risk. Take precautions to gradually immerse yourself and ensure you can handle the cold temperatures. 11. If booking a sauna for exclusive use, follow appropriate attire guidelines. Clothing is compulsory in communal saunas; bathing suits are recommended. 12. Saunas are available for private parties, festivals, or personal experiences, with mobile options. Do I need 8 people to book the Sauna?No , you can pay the fee and have any number Upto 8 people . Or book in communal sauna slot as an individual.

Are children allowed in the sauna?Children under the age of 16 are permitted to use the sauna if it has been hired out as private use. Please be aware that there are hot surfaces and trip hazards within the sauna and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We regret to inform you that children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the sauna.

What is your cancellation policy?Bookings can be cancelled with a full refund/ rescheduled with a minimum 48 hour notice period to allow sufficient time for your slot to be re booked. We regret that any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded. To cancel or reschedule your booking, please email us at info@duddlestonefarm.co.uk
